Toyota OEM Filter: any good?

My local stealership has Toyota OEM filters on sale for $3.50 each.

Are they any good? (other than stating 'Meets OEM Standards')


Also, does anyone know who makes them for Toyota?

They are very good. I use Toyota OEM also. Don't sweat it. For the price, you cannot beat these filters. Why pay $1 less for a reverse engineered filter with who knows what quality problems? I buy them 2 to 3 at a time when they are on sale.

I buy them in paks of 10, FWIW.
Seem to be great filters.
I use the YZZF1 on my Scion tC.

Toyota OEM filters here are made in Taiwan, and are now plain old paper media.

Was very disappointed when I asked to look at a new filter (wierd look from sales guy, who had also noticed the change in country), and saw the paper media. Filter had changed, but the price didn't ($18)
