anyone got correct part # for OEM filter for 2020 Toyota Yaris LE hatchback? supposedly it is a Mazda 1.5L power train & I am being urged to use Toyota filters to keep my certified used car warranty; thanks

For a 2016–2020 Yaris (based on the Mazda2)
For models sold in the U.S. from 2016–2020, the correct oil filter is an oil filter element, not a spin-on filter.
  • Original OEM part number: 90118-WBA42
  • Superseding OEM part number: 04152-WAA03

It's all Mazda, not just the engine. The only thing Toyota on that car is the emblems! Still good cars, I'd be happy to drive one.

GOT MY ANSWER FROM 3 DIFFERENT TOYOTA DEALERS IN MY AREA...

based upon VIN cross reference it is a SPIN-ON with part # 90118-WBA40; running a search at Fram oil filter lookup it is a very common size...6607

If there's room, the Fram 7317 is the over-sized filter (longer) for the 6607.

Have you actually looked on your car to see what you have?

Also, no need to shout.

? shout ? and no...don't have ramps nor HOA approval to do vehicle maintenance

Not sure who is urging you, but Walmart oil change service will fix you up. You could ask for a Mobil 1. Or just take it to your Toyota dealer. Most people have no idea what their filter number is and don’t want to know.
