I was pondering some home grown solutions ..but the tolerances are rather tight and it might be more of a liability than a help. I was just thinking that a thin reusable gasket, with a cutout for the existing ring ..of the same thickness ..would solve your issue here. Again, it might prove to be more of a hassle than it's worth

milwaukee, wanted to let you know that the Mobil 1 M1C251 cartridge filter is finally being sold. O'Reilly's is selling it for $18, and there is another place online that is selling cases of six for $13 per filter.

Foreign aid that foreign nations earn (and you get some upper lofty perched people to profit from it).

Is there a real reason to import fuel filters from Israel, which has a much higher cost of living? It's a way to put U$D in a given location. Global "interests" are served in many ways ..and remember that there are always the profiteers to catch the drippings.
