Toyota 0w20 is $7 per quart at dealer PP is much less. Is it worth it to spend extra for the Toyota Oil? Can the Toyota or PP Last the 10,000 mile interval in the 3.5 V6?

They both seem to be great oils, but from what I've read here the TGMO can be sourced for less than you were quoted. Either way you'll do just fine, but in your shoes I would go for the TGMO even if it's a few bucks more. Spending a few bucks more every 10000 miles shouldn't hurt much.

Personally I would run the PP, Penzoil makes top notch synthetics (and conventionals). As for running 10k? I would check the UOA section before even thinking about it. Or better yet, run it for 7k and send in a UOA. Or even better yet, run it 7k and change the oil.

The TGMO is a better oil, with a much higher VI.
The only reason I'm running PP 0W-20 is that it was nearly free after MIR and I had yet to acquire my stash of HGMO 0W-20 when I changed the FF at 8.7K and 15% MM.
It'll be coming out before winter, to be replaced with old-school HGMO 0W-20, Idemitsu API SM.
You should be able to find TGMO for a price similar to PP.
Call a few dealers, ask for their price for a couple of cases, and tell the parts guy that ~$5.00 is the going rate.
You could also look around online.
You'd be surprised at the prices you might find, even after shipping charges.

Both known to be good oils. I wouldnt run either for 10k miles. Id do 7500 miles though. I found my corolla to be louder on the TGMO.

I will see if I can get it cheaper. Who sells it other than the dealer? Seems like oil changes will be more costly than their American Manufactured counterparts.

I am quite tempting to get this instead of TGMO 0W20. My local Toyota dealer can give me $5 QT for a case of 12.

Should I?

Local dealer has them at $6/qt. another one wanted $8... Make a few calls. Running this in '06 Odyssey after years of M1. Phenomenal difference when starting and at idle

$5.00/qt is a good price on TGMO.
OTOH, $3.49/qt on NAPA labeled Synpower is also a nice price.
We have one member here who swears by Synpower 0W-20 and Synpower SN has looked very good in the UOAs of it posted here.
The TGMO is probably the better oil and it certainly has a higher VI, but I doubt that either you or your Prius will be able to tell the difference.
