Toyota 0W-20 - Did it change again based on Project Farm's VOA molybdenum data?

I was interested in running this in my new Honda Pilot for first oil change soon around 3k miles.

We know we've seen the results of it being tested and returning near 800ppm Moly.

Project Farm's OEM oil test earlier this year showed it's results from Blackstone at only ~65 Moly.

Anybody know what the deal is here??
Was it SP?

This is as of 11/24 per ROC

I think I also saw another recent SP VOA and the Noack was 13%.

Only one way to know - test.

IIIH, TEOST.

Testing allows you to see the synergy or lack of between all the components in a formulation.
Although it may or may not be printed on the container, per the API EOLCS Directory it does appear to have an API SP license. API SP is improved a bit in deposit and sludge formation over API SN. It should be good in that regard. Perhaps this is related to the type and amount of the molybdenum compound being used, I do not know. But either way there should not be a problem with this particular oil.

It's probably good "enough" but the goal posts are always moving with each subsequent new spec trying to get deposit formation lower. To my surprise it didn't change much for GF-7, but then again GF-7 isn't a high bar to pass. For the consumer there is really nothing else to go by other than specifications met.

This is high temperature deposit testing Amsoil has done over the years. Kudos to them for sharing these results. 4.0 was the min for GF-5 and I think it's now only 4.3 for GF-7. A rating of 5.5 is considered outstanding. Amsoil achieved a 7.7 and then even more impressive, a 7.42 after doubling the test.

Amsoil's moly levels are around 235ppm.
