I like it. Can't wait to see one in person.

Well, they've made the best looking minivan anyways, and the plugin hybrid option is interesting. Hopefully they still will be priced reasonably.

The Chrysler website shows several different levels of options, from LX to Limited Platinum

So, hopefully...

Looks decent for a van. I wonder if it will pass my wife test who simply doesn't want a minivan despite having 3 kids. Hopefully typical Chrysler resale in a few years when our MDX is aged enough to move on.

And I hear they're keeping the current platform in production as the Caravan. Interesting way to do things- to actually have a standard and premium minivan that differ by more than taillights and upholstery.

I think this is going to be a good combination. The new one looks pretty good and if it's a more 'fun' platform and can be made more luxurious - good for them!

But for those who want a cheap, proven design to haul their family around ... there's the $19K American Value Package Caravan. Sounds perfect.

IIRC Nissan sells the old body style Rogue next to the new one.

This van has some amazing styling, without looking angry in the front like Toyota. Not sure how they hid the door tracks.

Very pretty, but if it looses the sliding doors... No thanks...

I agree that a minivan is where hybrid should exist. Particularly a hybrid AWD system where the rear wheels are powered by electric, and the fronts are powered traditionally.

Sad to see the T&C name go, but IIRC, T&C was an option package on some other vehicle to begin with, so I wonder if the nicest Pacifica will be the Pacifica T&C??

+1. I just saw the neighbor's sienna and thought how angry and bulbous a schnozz it has...

I did see some commentary long ago about a Chrysler patent for hiding the door tracks... But did I miss that it says there are sliding doors? I though the aim here was to make it a bit more SUV-ish. Lets hope there are sliding doors...

With the way the door handles are it appears to have sliding doors.. unless it has some hideous suicide type door opening but that's unlikely.

It still does have sliding doors according to the press release. Looks like the put the sliders on the top and bottom of the door frame? So the whole door is cantilevered on two points at the front when its open. Maybe its only automatic or something to keep it in alignment?

Those are ones that they couldn't sell when they were current model year; they had a massive overproduction of them apparently.

Wow! That thing looks incredible for a people hauler.. I am impressed to be honest.. Very nice!

I do like the looks of the Journey a lot too.. Especially the R/T with the nice alloys on it. Very sharp vehicles too.

Current version? Chrysler has hidden the track for the sliding doors for about 20 years now.

It looks like the door tracks are just beneath the rear window, which is where they've been since 1996 I think.

The interior photos look great. I'd like to see a perhaps "less glam" trim in the photos. I see a lot of glossy and chrome-lined interior surfaces. Looks nice when new and in pictures...not so nice after 5 years and blinding at some sun angles.

I think the Journey is a very under-rated vehicle. I rented one back in 2009 or so and it was a nice ride for a road trip.
