Total Lubricants for auto shop??

Total is good stuff but tends to be expensive here in the states. None of their products really jumps out as being exceptionally better than the competition.
Total Quartz Energy 9000/Elf Excellium Full-Tec 0w30 is a nice oil and if it were cheaper I'd consider it for my cars.

Agreed, very good, and their synthetics are real synthetics, not "Synthetics". I was helping a friend of mine try to market, Elf/Total to European car dealers in the US. Right after VW and Audi had all the sludge problems iwith the 1.8T. It fell on deaf ears, the dealers just didn't get it. Now, why do these turbos run forever at over 100MPH in Europe, and sludge up here? Its the oil stupid!
