It goes pretty big. The biggest one I have is a T70 I think. I can’t even remember what I needed it for. I’ve used pretty much every size from T10-T70. They are used all the time on my dads Freightliner.Only you know what you need.
Since the small sizes aren't torqued too heavily, I'd consider covering them with a cheaper, multi-bit set. Even ones with the "security torx" (torx with a pin in the middle) are good.
5-6-7 are for key fob battery replacement and other subassemblies.
As AM mentioned, the 35 to 60 is what's going to send you to the store.
Humor question: How big does Torx go?
Also, while trying to remove a bumper bolt (T55) with a Harbor Freight set I invented, "Twisted Torx". It was kinda pretty.
Thank you Astro14, I will buy this one. It is cheaper than the used Torx set that I was planning to buy on eBay. The used one is Made in USA, but this set from Bondhus got me into it because of the price, plus it is Made in USA as well.T10-T30 are the most common sizes. You’ll be good with that.
Bits are nice, I have them in 1/4” 3/8” and 1/2” drive from T10 to T60.
A few of my cars have T40 seatbelt anchor bolts. Some have T60 serpentine belt tensioner fittings.
Honestly, for most folks, this set is all you need. Good quality, made in the US, inexpensive, good range of sizes.

I’ve got a set in my tool box, and a spare set in my truck tool kit.

Some ratchets use T6, T7, T8 and T9 for the bottom plate screws, some radio and dash, instrument clusters use them also mostly on Euro cars.Hello
I am planning to buy a set of torx (T9, T10, T15, T20, T25, T27, T30) 7 pieces.
The most popular Torx sets are only 6 pieces without T9
Is there a need for T9? What are the uses of T9?
thanks
I definitely agree. The Capri ones aren’t bad at all. I bought some to fill the blanks in my set of many other brands and they are great and don’t come loose inside like the others. Some ratchets use T6, T7, T8 and T9 for the bottom plate screws, some radio and dash, instrument clusters use them also mostly on Euro cars.
Some of these screws are tiny (M2) but nevertheless I come across them occasionally.
While it may be more than you need or want this is a good little set that will cover almost everything you will run into, it does not give you the long ones but it does have tamper and plus.
My everyday go to are from Hazet but I didn't have the tamper proof so I bought this and have used it for a while (hand tools only) with zero issues, the quality is surprisingly pretty decent and for the money its a good deal, it isnt Snap on, Hazet or other top shelf tool but it isn't HF crap either.
I have not needed the warranty but it is my understanding they are very good, a picture and a new one is one the way with a return label for the broken one. I would buy it again.
