Just like somebody said "Grease". I used yesterday when I was changing spark plug. I did not use anything two years when I did change spark plug. but This time I used grease.

But Spark removal was too easy . Easy effort open spark plug. I am glad I gone with NGK. I removed autolite double platinum last time. It's been around two years roughly 20,000 mile but they were almost bad. Thread were black. one of them tip was white. And one sprak plug tip was bent. I don't know how?

But anyway, I will check now on every year on NGK sprak plug.

Doeas anyone know How much mile I can put NGK plugs?

Thanks for all advice..........

This summer... I did
Spark Plug
Spark plug wire
PCV valve
Air filter

Hey again ,along with the anti-seize also make sure you remove your plugs with the engine STONE COLD, pulling a plug or any fastner from hot aluminum is a quick way for the kids to get yelled at and the cat getting kicked when the threads come with it..........keval85

Just put the plug in by hand, thread it in until it doesn't turn any more. Hook up your ratchet and tighten it lightly until it won't turn any more with light to moderate force. That way, you know that the gasket is crushed all the way and the plug can then remove heat from the combustion chamber. You can easily feel this procedure when installing plugs. No torque wrench, no turn angle BS to mess with.

I've wondered about this too. I worked on motorcycles for years and they almost always had aluminum heads and crush washer gasketed plugs. I've never had a problem with one.

There is an obvious torque buildup when the washer is fully compressed. When you feel it, stop. Seems pretty simple to me...
