Tornado Fuel Saver- 2004 late night infomercial

Enjoyable blast from the past infomercial for the Tornado Fuel Saver.

You put this in your air intake tube to swirl fuel and air for more horsepower and efficiency, per the advertisement.

Our intake has a factory air straightener to reduce turbulence lol. In fairness, the auto makers wanted smooth air for the MAF sensor and maybe a Tornado inside the cylinders. Haven't tried the Tornado so can't vouch for it.

where do I get mine! wow you made me feel old not fair. 😢lol

In the early 2000's I came across a device called the GasBooster. Looked like a hockey puck cut in half with a hole in the middle. Strapped it around the fuel line held in place by a zip tie. The "theory" behind it was to magnetically realign the molecules in the fuel for better fuel efficiency.

Someone gifted me a few hundred of these things. For $hits & giggles put them up on eBay. Sold all of them within a couple weeks.

Really? How old was the stock? I wonder if that 'someone' was the entrepreneur who imported them (had 'em made?) or just got 'em via a cleanout.

How much did you charge for each?

These were installed around the fuel line. No need to cut or splice the fuel line.

They were probably 5-10 years old at the point of the early 2000's. I think most of them went for about $20ish a piece on ebay.

There was paperwork from Tulane University with the lot I got that showed the testing they did on the device. I guess for $120K you could get Tulane to say whatever you wanted.

Just to throw a wrench into this conversation, my 2016 ecoboost has these installed in the pipes after the turbos from the factory. Some people remove them, most don't. Ford engineers put them in there for some reason.

They create the good, "counterclockwise" swirl, I think.;)

All this is well and good, but WHERE are the Parasitic Current Straighteners to plug into the cigarette lighter so they can fix all your stray currents, improve mpg and ignition efficiency, but most of all - fix all your bad grounds ? Huh ?? HUH ???

What chance does your Tornado stand without these ?

That one appears to straighten, unless it’s inserted backwards!
