Make sure you get the "counterclockwise" air swirl. Other wise if clockwise it fights the earth's rotation and slows down the swirl affect. Lot of engines ruined by not getting the correct swirl direction Tornado Fuel Saver.

Enjoyable blast from the past infomercial for the Tornado Fuel Saver.
You put this in your air intake tube to swirl fuel and air for more horsepower and efficiency, per the advertisement.
Our intake has a factory air straightener to reduce turbulence lol. In fairness, the auto makers wanted smooth air for the MAF sensor and maybe a Tornado inside the cylinders. Haven't tried the Tornado so can't vouch for it.
my friend said he never hit a deer until he installed deer whistlesJust like deer-crossing signs direct the deer where to cross![]()
A lot. I have seen many installed in customers intakes.I remember those, I wonder how many actually sold?
Why not go for some Slick50 too!Circa 2004...The Tornado Fuel Saver and some AutoRX and you were good to go.

I'll see if I can dig up some more TV long-form infomercials that you watched late night every Friday. They are tough to find!
Heck no. It’s looses the swirling effect.Did it have any positive or negative impact? Did it make any noise?
I think the pitch was more compelling pre-internet. But I'm not sure.
See post #6In the early 2000's I came across a device called the GasBooster.
Really? How old was the stock? I wonder if that 'someone' was the entrepreneur who imported them (had 'em made?) or just got 'em via a cleanout.Someone gifted me a few hundred of these things.

That one appears to straighten, unless it’s inserted backwards!Just to throw a wrench into this conversation, my 2016 ecoboost has these installed in the pipes after the turbos from the factory. Some people remove them, most don't. Ford engineers put them in there for some reason.
They create the good, "counterclockwise" swirl, I think.
