Can I use this in my 2004 FORD Cobra 6 speed manual trans when it says to use Mercon III?

I've been using torco in my IMCO Outdrives with GREAT results. I had Redline MTF in there and I wondering about switching to see if the TORCO is smoother on shifting.

What about Pennzoil "Synchromesh" MTF? How does TORCO RTF compare to a plain Mercon III?

RTF is a 75W-90 with a pretty robust add pack ! (IIRC around 14.5 cSt @ 100*c)
That's a tad thicker than any ATF or an equivalent MTF.
