I just came across this video on youtube. This joker is clearly more OCD than I am, but I plan to borrow some of his tips (especially for the cordless tools and toolbox).

Well, well I never seen so many tools in one place!
That guy's got a hell of a place to go when the wife is in a bad mood!
Who do you think wife is gonna take her bad mood on? Not her husband?
I watched one of his videos. He's got one heck of a setup. I wonder if his wife has any idea of how much all that cost him?? 
Maybe he already sent her packing...

I'm doing good just to have all my screwdrivers in their own drawer.
Saw that one as well - we must all have the same/similar YouTube suggestions. He had some great ideas, like hanging the shop vac, the reciprocating saw paint can shaker, the flip-up grinder as well as the trailer hitch mount for bench tools, etc etc.
