Frank Miller is the owner and inventor of AutoRX.

A prominent Terry here you may be thinking of is Terry Dyson, of Dyson Analysis.

I'm not the expert but I don't believe there's any reason to worry about the filter internals from adding the AutoRX in it. Anyway, after a short flow time, it will be washed away and mixed.

I've never bothered to fill my filters before installation. Many do. It makes sense to do so. If filters were getting larger instead of smaller it might make more sense. Maybe someday I will convince myself to do it too.

Maybe just a typo. though.......the ads are working.

1) Don't sweat it.
2) Been beat to bloody death in the other forums, do a search. It makes sense to pre-fill.

Pablo, wow maybe you are right, I think I should go back into hiding as I did for 22+ years and just test quietly.

Wish I did own Auto-Rx I'd be RICH !!!!!

Thiggy, I know that was honest and don't feel bad. But I have just got to write this;

Terry Dyson of Dyson Analysis INDEPENDENT OF ANY AFFILIATION WITH ANY BRAND OF ANYTHING EXCEPT OIL ANALYSIS CONSULT AND TESTING INTERPRETATION.

Question # 1 - I removed my old filter and just poured the AUTORx into the new filter before replacing it. Only after I had lowered my truck did it occur to me to consider if I might be creating a problem by pouring it directly into the filter. Could the AUTORx cause any harm in concentrated form to the filter element? I hesitate to drive my truck till I get some advise about this matter.

Question # 2 - When I perform an oil/filter change, I usually add oil to the filter as it seems logical that if it is already filled there will be less chance of oil starvation within the engine components. Is this a valid assumption? Am I helping, wasting my time, or doing some possible harm with this practice?
