at least you have port injection (in addition to your DI). Have you ever boroscoped your valves?
I have a Gen 1 version of that motor, no PI, and no I haven’t boroscoped, and no CC. Living in denial.
 
A catch can might be good for a vehicle that gets short tripped mostly. Might not get hot enough, often enough to evaporate fuel and water well.
 
I put a J&L catch can on the VQ38DD in my 2022 Frontier. It does capture a disturbing amount of water during the winter months. About 2oz or more per 1000 miles. No moisture in the warmer months and very little oil.

I did it as more of a curiosity thing and bought the kit used off the fleabays for pretty cheap.

It's kind of neat. I wouldn't recommend one for someone who doesn't like to poke around under their hood though.
