Tire sales…current vs potential Black Friday / future sales?

Tire sales and related promotions tend to peak in the month of October and then wind down into the month of November. By the time Black Friday rolls around I would not expect some crazy deal to be available like there would have been a month prior based on recent history and my first hand experience selling dozens of sets of tires to my beloved customers 🥰
Thanks! I feel like I’ve browsed Black Friday tire deals last year and been unimpressed, but I don’t track and/or remember things well enough to know for sure.

Gotcha and I understand!
This hasn’t been my experience however, I’ve only purchased Pirelli passenger car tires; several sets of…
Cinturato P4, Cinturato P7 AS Plus/Plus2 and now the Scorpion AS Plus3 and all have been Pirelli’s quiet(er) tires.

I chose the Scorpions this time as the scored smoothest/quietest in the TR’s comparison test of 8 premium tires for our SUV. I also just had my alignment performed.

The Continental CrossContact LX25 would have been my 2nd choice as I’ve driven a SantaFe with them and liked them too. They were worn ~ 1/2 way and didn’t sound loud the way I have read that the can get. I blame [SOME] loud tires on poor alignment. Once the alignment is put back into spec, the noise never goes away til you get new tires.
I agree, that’s what I meant by lack of maintenance. Out of alignment and failing to rotate tires can lead to wear and noise. Or it could just be the nature of the tread design and or compounds. My continentals actually got loud on my Mazda that is perfectly cared for, so I can’t say I’ve had the best experience with continental either.

Wife watches finances and thinks we’d be better off with a Costco deal due to their perks and the benefits we reap by using their credit card, so that’d make me get the Bridgestone everdrive most likely.

So looking at my email history, if this year is like the past, Discount Tire will offer around THanksgiving (also around President's Day):

buy 4 "best tires", $200 off, 4 "better tires" = $150 off, 4 "good tires" = $75.

Typically yes, Black Friday has provided opportunities to save $100 or so. That’s when I’ll probably replace due to sitting at 6/32” myself. I missed the Continental rebate because I don’t need them now, but I doubt they’ll make another winter.
Conti typically has another rebate period every November.
