Are you kidding me? I will never spend such a price on these tires, but I will buy instead Michelin.

Thanks anyway

The minivan puts a lot of load on the tires, and more substantial tires in the same size should live longer. Check 1010tires.com or your preferred tire vendor for 215/65R16/98H tires and see what they come up with.

Yes for 98 weight load, but no for H. Since T will last longer than H.

For max rain and snow performance I'd suggest the Firestone Affinty Touring. Note: These are a new tread design, (not the Affinity OE), seems identical to the Firestone Precison Touring that came out 2 years ago and did well in Tirerack tests and has a 70,000 mile warranty.

To be clear, the current tires on my car are Firestone. I did not get any issues with 'em, and I had 34,000 miles and I do not how many miles they got with first owner.

I think this is the same as General RT

Take a good look at the Michelin Harmony. I installed a set on my 2008 Sienna this past summer and they are great. MUCH quieter than the LX4's they replaced.

Also, before you buy check with your local Toyota dealer. They were running a buy 3 get 1 free promotion when I bought mine. I was out the door for $525.

The Michelin Harmony/X Radial/WeatherWise II/Destiny line also has the higher 98 load rating. They're an E-metric tire rather than the P-metric tire that Toyota originally installed on the van (with a 96 load rating).

I just called different Toyota dealerships, and they said Harmony would cost me $850 CAD All-inclusive.

Well....it depends on the usage of the tires. The better rubber and stouter carcass might actually give longer life that what you're getting with T rated tires with the rubber scrubbed off by that tall, heavy minivan.

When you list prices, you might be more clear with just the actual tire prices, and listed as C$ or CDN$. Taxes and disposal fees vary widely by region, and while they matter greatly to the buyer, it makes comparison difficult.

I had a set of Yoko Envigor's on my Subie, they wore out to the treadwear bars in 25,000 miles. I certainly won't buy these again. Just relaying my experience.
