I just discovered something cool if you're a pipe smoker. The other day I was cleaning out my closets, and found my old pipes and supplies. Among the accessories was a little bottle of "Pipe Polish," which says it's carnauba wax w/ silicone.
As I'd been trying to find something to use on the wood trim inside the C230, I thought, "Ah-ha!" and went out and rubbed some on the dash trim. It went on easily, being liquid, dried quickly, and buffed to a nice slippery shine.
If you're not a pipe smoker, there probably wouldn't be much point in your going out to buy this stuff. But if you are and already have some for polishing up your smooth briars, by all means give it a try!
