My 2008 Ford F150 4,6l 2 valve (205,463 miles) was having timing chain rattle on start up. We replaced, timing chains, tensioners, guides, and oil pump. It's running great now.

C,mon. You can't publish pictures of a spotless high mileage valve train without giving due credit to the oil and the OCI choices of the astute owner. This is Bitog!

OCI has been 4500-5000 miles. Originally ran PYB for first 50,000 miles, changed to Valvoline Synthetic Maxlife, and then to Liqui Moly Special Tec AA.

Nice job!

How many hours did it take for the entire job? Did you need any special tools to do this job? Any problem areas that were a pain to access or remove?
