Agree 100%. Unless actual reliability is compromised by these nickel and dime issues, repair them and do your pocketbook a favor. Unless oil consumption goes crazy, the transmission fails, or some other major dollar value thing happens, I'd stick with what you have.
IMO, the last gen civic is underpowered and has reliability issues with and AT. The current gen is overpowered and not that pleasant to drive in many ways. id look for a deal on a bargain basement Yaris, stretch a few pennies and get into one of them instead, if need be. Used Japaneese cars are HORRIBLE deals.
