Time to get the Oil OUT!

c3po just picked up that i posted in Mechanical about some "Blue Smoke." Car saw some Blue Smoke today, on the car i added the B-12 and some MMO to and topped off with the Supertech. So perhaps the car is telling me that New oil is Imperative.

You all hit the nail on the head, that you would change the Oil ASAP. Seems tomorrow will be the day.

Does this mean i gave my T-bird a nice cleaning, i believe in maintaining the thing

And if i change out Oil and add new filter, not even any MMO excet 2 ounces every 10 gallons in the gas i am ok?

Your opinions on this...

Added: Saw this video of a Crown Vic may have my motor if its 4.6... My car is NOwhere nears as bad as this one, this car sunds like it Died the CV, but my Smoke was the color the smoke TURNED to (the smoke higher in the air)

How many miles with the B-12 and MMO? (I'd recommend only using one at a time).

I had put some MMO in After the B12 if i recall.

Id say the B-12 has been in there for about 1000 miles and the MMO about 500

I read how MMO is less Powerful so i wanted B12 to get in there and -really- work, i knew it was on Strong side but now i think perhaps it is time to get it out?

I had to top up a Quart or so over that time and i never added any SeaFoam or anything, just ran a lot of Cleaners in the Fuel

Engine still runs well

Is the B12 in the gas or oil. B12 should only be in the oil for 20 minutes at idle. It is a strong solvent.

Seems im never putting the B12 in the Oil again. I ran into the testimony of one poster here that used it as i just did to achieve "A lot of cleaning" and said he had no issues

I think the Blue Smoke i saw today means it is time to Get that oil OUT

Somehow i think if i "Did Damage" the engine would run way worse but yes i plan on changing it tomorrow

Got the SuperTech all set.

I think this time i will not even put MMO in the oil, i need the Oil to soak into anc suspend whatever the B12 found and may have left behind after Oil comes out

IIRC the old B-12 instructions were to idle the engine for 15 mins and drain. Not drive around for 1000 miles.

the instructions were:

CRANKCASE: Use 8 ounces of Chemtool for 6 or 8 cylinder gasoline engines. On 4 cylinder gasoline engines use 6 ounces. With engine stopped and preferably cool, add B-12 Chemtool to engine oil. Start engine and let idle for 3 to 5 minutes. Drain oil immediately. Change oil filter and add recommended oil. B-12 Chemtool vaporizes immediately to clean all internal engine surfaces, dissolving gum and varnish.

The new chemtool cans have no mention of oil use whatsoever probably due to lability issues due to situations like this.

I agree. I am guessing that Chemtool ditched the flush instructions because people were doing some serious damage by not strictly following the instructions on the can and driving for several thousand miles...
