Tiguan 30,000 mile tran.service

I use the Polaris labs,I'm getting ready to do the 30,000 mile tran fluid.Dealer reconmended but expensive.I have the 6 year -72,000 warrenty, any body else go longer,or is this a wise procedure?

How long are you going to keep the car ?

I would think the 6 year / 72,000 warranty would be backed-up by doing ALL schedule maintenance being done at recommended time.

Dealer recommended or factory specified service? If dealer supplied 3rd party warrantee you may have to do it. If VW warranty read what it requires. What does the owner's manual say?

If it has a DSG tranny I'd not go to the max I'd do the 1st right now at 30K, subsequent ones may be stretched to the max, though I wouldn't.
