Throttle body cleaning and oil

The black tubes that run the length of the VC (upper & lower pic) the upper3/8" tube is the PCV valve to intake. the lower 1/2" tube is an open vent and that connects to back section of the TB I imagine that is controlled/metered by the throttle position.
Would I want to catch vapors off of both tubes or what one would be more benificial?

The one with the valve goes to the intake to 'recirculate' vapors.
This is the one to put the catch can on.

The other line is the inlet, as far as I can tell. Leave this alone. PCV systems have an in and an out concerning air flow.
