Had my interview yesterday. I started the process in Nov 2022. Long story but wife started before me (Sept) and had her interview Tuesday. I had heard NOTHING until last week, I emailed them and the very next day I was OK'd to get an interview date. December 2023! Oh boy, I kept checking and checking 5-6 times a day! Then I got Sept 13 OK good........oh crud we will be in Alaska........then Monday miracle, someone bailed for 11:45AM August 23.

The USA interviewer was actually amazed I got through so fast and appreciated my story of apprehension by Chinese border security. He said most folks are into it well over a year, some near two years. Canadian lady was gruff and needed lunch. Just read and listen with her.

Hope card comes before Alaska trip and definitely will have for Italy trip.
Our interviews are on Sunday, wish us luck! Sounds like you did well, we started the LOOONG overdue process in 2021, but it's not easy to get 4 interviews close together.

My freshly relaced baseball gloves arrived today. Thanks to the person on my other forum for fixing them up for me. I love them. Now I just wish I had someone to play catch with. My favorite is the Milwaukee Brewers themed catchers mitt and my San Diego Padres themed first base mitt. I’m giving this guy some extra for all the time he spent on them. Never thought they would be this nice in the end.
Was the blue lacing used on the original gloves in the day?

I was 4 years old when this was planted. Had a great water source. Insects and woodpeckers did it in. My mom's old house..Sort of a bummer to me. As I get older I don't like removing trees...it's the life thing... My poor mother spent many a stormy night worrying over this tree as it was close to the house. She's gone now and so is the oak tree 😢

At our house, a 60+ y.o. maple fell on 2019. A trifecta--son then 5 broke his leg. Central AC broke. Tree fell. We're so lucky it didn't hit a car or a person, happened maybe 11 PM. In a dense area with 1/5 acre lots, it's no joke trying to get it removed.

Next morning a woman was walking around our yard.

Me: "Hi, anything I can help you with?"

Lady with Honda Civic flashers on: "I saw the tree and am looking for any squirrels that need to be rescued."

At first glance I thought this was a dirty CAF.
Imagine that's how I started out my career. I never thought the day would come, when people didn't need to talk, and that CAT3 cabling, 110, 66, Krone (never worked on BIX), would be obsolete. Never say never. I sorta miss the days when people said, "Phone guy's here!" At the time, I hated it. I did have one ticket where a woman hugged me she was so happy that her phone was working again. Right out of a Direct TV commercial. The good ol' days
