When I lived near the Mississippi river as a kid, the river froze with ice so thick that people were driving their cars on it. My Dad would take the car on the frozen Mississippi river and get going about 50 MPH and then whip the steering wheel and put the car into a spin ... it was kind of fun actually, lol.

Three new hats arrived today. Seattle Mariners, San Francisco Giants and Oakland Athletics. I love the colors on the Mariners hat. It looks so good. Not huge on the yellow for Oakland but that’s their team colors so I’ll probably rock it every once in awhile. Then I have a Houston Astros hat arriving sometime as well tomorrow or Monday probably. Then who knows what one I’ll order next. I got some extra money so I was able to buy these and had several coupons. That’s one good thing is not only do they give you coupons but they also put cards in with the hats. You sometimes get a food gift card and I got a couple food ones and one for the MLB shop. So at least they reward you for buying their stuff.

My MLB cap collection as of today. All New Era Cap Company with the exception of the Kansas City Royals hat which is still licensed merchandise just got it cheap at a flea market. Plan on getting a fitted version straight bill soon. Had to relocate these to my room as the niece and nephews completely destroyed my display in our living room and trampled a couple of them luckily no damage. Currently wearing the Orioles hat in the very back took it off for the picture. My plan is to get all the teams then I need a new Mets hat, Padres hat and Royals hat as those are all snap backs and I want the authentic ones. I will still keep these but want the other ones as I much prefer a fitted hat to a snap back. Which hat do the BITOG members like best? I’m going to have to go with the top three which to me are Cleveland Indians Chief Wahoo in the front row, Philadelphia Phillies blue and red in the second row and probably the Orioles or Mariners as a tie for third because I love Mariners colors but the Oriole looks sweet. Currently have a Houston Astros hat on the way and I’m thinking of another one since I got some extra money earned today. Thinking either Cubs, White Sox or modern Marlins hat or the Rockies two tone hat or the Blue Jays. All of them look sweet.
