My jersey from the Devil Mountain Double Century, a timed event starting and ending in San Ramon, California.
The toughest part of the entire day was climbing Sierra Road - an 1,800 foot climb spanning just 3 miles - an unrelenting 10% to 15% wall of a road. The "best part" was it came after already being on the saddle for 150 miles and climbing 15,000 feet.
This ride required a significant physical and mental effort.

Passed that landmark many many times, a good number of them on the way to eat at Mike Linnig's. GOOD seafood.

Bacon-wrapped smoked trout with one sliced gold potato fried together with chopped onion, and creamed eggs. I also had a large kale and spinach salad.
