Upon arrival at the Daly City Car Vending Machine, the customer will be greeted by a Carvana Customer Advocate and receive a commemorative, oversized Carvana coin to activate the automated vending process. From there, Carvana customers get a front-row seat to watch their vehicle descend through the brightly lit all-glass tower. Once the customer’s vehicle is in the delivery bay, they are invited to take possession of their car, where they will have seven days to drive the car around town before ultimately deciding if the vehicle is right for them.

My brother just did his second Carvana Transaction.... the first was when he sold them his 2015 Challenger Driveway ornament last year some time...
now He traded in his 2014 Volt on a 2017 Escape.

they're making the exchange Weds afternoon.
he was getting more and more worried about SOMETHING going wrong with the Volt, and not being able to find anyone qualified to work on it...
Then he had a power surge the other night. he woke up at 3 am to the sound of "sizzling" throughout the house, quickly went and tripped the main breaker, and back to sleep for a couple hours.
when he got up at 6, after turning the power back on, he found the surge had killed all his LED bulbs, and popped all the surge protector/power strips in the house.
he had to quickly run to a store and get replacements before 8am (works from home in IT)
after the Surge the Volt's Check engine light came on. I plugged my scanner in, and it was all related to the input voltage being too high....I reset everything, hopefully they don't come back. (IIRC Carvana won't buy a car if the check engine light is on.)
