Mount Apica. on road 169 in the Laurentians. the most dangerous section of road 169. it is located between Quebec City and Lake st John area. 140 miles with nothing but trees and wildlife. many accidents due to collisions with moose. it is located entirely in the Boreal Forest. there is only 1 rest area and it is called L'etape.

Want my thoughts on "premium, OEM CV joint" half shafts from a reputable Porsche parts supplier??
Car only has ~60K, but at 23 years the boots were at their end so I opted for new shafts. Hmmmm...60K on original shafts, 187 miles on a replacement then this. Current aftermarket parts quality is taking some fun out of the hobby.

Two simple ways to deal with the IMS:
1) replace it, there are many alternatives. Both of our have the LNE open bearing ceramic replacement (and both originals were completely fine)
2) roll the dice; the odds are greatly in your favor
If you do ever go the Boxster route, get an S. Not much more and worth it. Of all of ours, this is my favorite driver, love this car.
