Yup, last holdout was large motors, they tried to send it to Mexico, they flubbed a few multi-million dollar projects, so the work went to Peterborough, but it was only a matter of time and she's dead now. Only thing active on the site, besides caretaking, is the BWXT (formerly GE-Hitachi) nuclear fuel fabrication facility for Darlington and Pickering.

You can see the old rail lines coming in, and going around, the grounds. They used to have their own shunt engine, I don't know if it's gone or just inside now. At the top and bottom, Albert and Wolfe streets, this was all housing built for the workers. There was another spur that came out the South-East corner (you can see the green grass) that ran over to the tracks that you can still see across the street.

The fragments and memories of tracks, strewn all over the city, due to its industrial history, continue to haunt. Ghosts of a time when it was a major hub of industry, producing products that were consumed all over not just North America, but the world. GE, Quaker, Outboard Marine, Westclox, Peterborough Boats...etc.

Check your meds 😂 Just threw out a Pepto that expired in 2018, the mylanta upstairs expired in 2015. Look like the iduprofen acetaminophen needs to go also. Guess can't complain since we don't get sick often!
