Back from a week in the hospital
Just completed open heart bypass surgery. On top of that I contracted C-19 which delayed recovery a bit. I am doing fine and grateful to have come through it all with no major complications. It was quite an experience. If anyone if facing this or contemplating it you can PM me.
I would also like to take this time to publicly thank Zee09 for helping me through this. He provided invaluable encouragement and comfort to me through this journey. Thanks Jim

Walt is a warrior. He had the same situation I had years earlier. No easy way out for him. He handed it with ease until cv19 came his way.
He made the best out of a bad situation and even encouraged me as well when he should have worried only about himself... a true gentleman.

That's a 1934 GAZ A-Aero. I suspect the Czech Tatra was much better. The Tatra was popular with SS officers in occupied Czechoslovakia until too many of them died because the cars were too fast and Nazis on booze and with hookers often didn't end well.

Tatra sued Porsche over the KdF-Wagen design. The KdF-Wagen later became the Beetle.
A civilian Tatra and an Afrika Korps KdF-Wagen in 187/H0 scale. The Tatra is made by Wiking and the KdF-Wagen is made by Brekina. In case anybody wonders how many scale model cars I have and what scales, they range from 1/160 to 1/18 scale. I don't know how many I own and that's why I keep posting pictures while doing inventory. I have thousands, I suppose.

My dad's triple -which became quadruple- bypass operation, and my only experience with bypass, was 36 years ago.
Besides, 'Get Well and Take Care of Yourself', all I can say is, you gotta be in a better position than patients like my dad given all the advancements. Now quit smokin' them cigarettes! (ha-ha)

No but the local water and all the mineral water can be a bit binding. I think the Strega took care of that. I had to fork over half a Euro to take a ——- emergency pit stop
