Corn on the grill. I’m not a huge fan of corn on the cob in general but especially not grilled lol. Luckily there is one small piece I’ll probably eat that one. Steaks coming next.
No teef?I haven't had a steak in maybe 15 years...
Thanks for the tip. Have to do everything pops way lol. He YouTube’d how to do it. Lol. He freaked when I put it right on the flame on the grill in front of the neighbors I was really embarrassed haha.Better to leave the husks on...............already going crazy
Cooking tip. Roll out some Al foil. Husk the corn, save the inner green husks. Roll the corn and green husks all into a neat husk insulated package. Now grill. Your dinner guests will be in awe.
No teef?
That's the truth . As a farm kid we had beef every day and steak. It was the cheapest food we had back then as we would buy a whole or half beef.. I remember when it was 19 cents a pound and a year later inflation drove it to 29 cents ..Do we laugh or cry?
I concur with this.. With us it was pork or beef... maybe a chicken. Those farm chickens were tough! Switched to store bought chickens eventually. Dad didn't really like steaks so I think he sold those back to the butchers. Every year we'd butcher one of each. Can't say when the last time I had a steak either.. but my wife cooks meat a little better than mom did. That's the truth . I couldn't even eat it in my 30 to 40s and then life events restricted going out for years
I could eat one now but I haven't went to restaurants for many years.
Most farm people lived the same way in the day.. Seafood
would be my first choice

I remember in college when chuck roast was 69 cents/pound as was corned beef. Wings at the bar 10 cents. This wasn’t as long ago, as some might be thinking. To me, part of it is demand. Same reason why a college with a 39% acceptance was elite and most competitive in my time, and today, acceptance is 4.1%. I think we’re running out of normal resources. Steak is for elite eatersThat's the truth . As a farm kid we had beef every day and steak. It was the cheapest food we had back then as we would buy a whole or half beef.. Smoke I can not handle at allView attachment 173929
Went up, then down a little. Smoky as heck outside, house sealed up and carbon filters running.
