Better to leave the husks on...............already going crazy

Cooking tip. Roll out some Al foil. Husk the corn, save the inner green husks. Roll the corn and green husks all into a neat husk insulated package. Now grill. Your dinner guests will be in awe.

how I cook corn on cob

Soak in water 2-3 hrs

Or less......with husks of course

I use a Weber 3 burner grill

Shut middle burner off...grill at 325-350*

One hr or so....rotate once

Best corn on cob you'll ever have

I once saved the day by stepping up and succinctly scheduling the preparation of burgers and fire roasted corn.
The time the ears needed to be unpacked, trimmed to uniformity and soaked, provided me the time to gather my thoughts.
That was quite possibly the high water mark of my life and I'm glad corn was involved.

Corn on the grill. I’m not a huge fan of corn on the cob in general but especially not grilled lol. Luckily there is one small piece I’ll probably eat that one. Steaks coming next.

That looks great. Char-grilled corn and steak is a delicious meal (needs some greens).

For all the garbage you eat and post about eating on here, I had to chuckle because this is a nice photo and surely made for a good meal. And you don’t like the corn.

Few things better than peak season sweet corn grilled/roasted!

I’m too young for that (dark colored anything). Until maybe 15 or 16 we got flavored fluoride treatments of some gel in a foam bowl. After that nothing. Never had a cavity and in my early 40s….

Pretty flowers that always pop up around my property. Someone on Flickr told me a few years ago what these were called but I can’t remember the name.

That's a Rose of Sharon, by the way. They can be nice, but very persistent in their efforts to spread far and wide.

It’s really a stupid question though the later light fluoride treatments didn’t darken teeth but yeah treating city water? They labeled people against it as nut bags
