Yesterday My sons Kona battery died in my driveway
Today it is my F-150 dead.
Interstate batteries have not done me well

Because you asked, and because I had no idea of how the Chevy was set up, I called my friends and caught them before they and the Chevy left the campground. But first, the standard 6-cyl engine for that era was 235ci.

The engine is a stock and blueprinted 409 from the 1962-63 era. It is the base model 409, with about 360hp and a single 4bbl carb. The transmission is a modified-for-towing Turbo Hydromatic. The owner says it was "beefed up" but provided no details. The wagon has a positraction 3.73 rear end and sports bigger and stronger than stock tires on a 15-inch wheel. Stock wheels on the '57 Chev were 14-inch.
