My dog figured out almost right away that "Fetch" actually meant "keep away" and it was more fun for him. Loved chasing my Golden around the yard 😀

The pain of watching your best buddy get older can affect you, even when younger (teen.) He used to like to do that with the twigs and small sticks. He also liked to catch the tennis ball. When his cataracts started to get too big in the one eye (those little black balls in the eye that aren't supposed to be there,) that's when you know he's getting old. A tear formed on my eye just typing this. And he can't catch the tennis ball anymore. So you just kind of stop tossing it to him.

He's in a better place now.
