Both can be true. Wind turbines can have a significant, and disproportionate, impact on a specific family of birds (raptors) and overall bird mortality can be concerning as a result of human activities. Wind turbines are basically a subset of that, with a specific impact profile.I didn't bring bird deaths caused by animals into this because the turbine deaths are due to human activities. Maybe focusing on habitat loss in general rather than blaming the avian genocide on wind turbines would be a better approach.
