Both can be true. Wind turbines can have a significant, and disproportionate, impact on a specific family of birds (raptors) and overall bird mortality can be concerning as a result of human activities. Wind turbines are basically a subset of that, with a specific impact profile.

Rv show this morning.. wife found something she likes. Might get something in addition to our current Class C. It's long paid for and really the new RVs similar isn't any different.
