Thoughts on Mobil oil?

Hey fellas, recently purchased about 50 qts of Mobil 0w20 and 5w30 synthetic at about $1.25 per qt.
Is this oil good enough to use in my vehicles without worry? I’ve always used Mobil 1 or Valvoline oils.
What’s the difference in Mobil 1 and Mobil?
This Mobil is dexos1.

Main vehicles this will be used in will be:
-2023 Subaru crosstrek 2.0 6mt
-2017 Toyota camary
-4.8 swapped s10
And various other gm vehicles.

Mobil is good oil. Mobil 1 is their synthetic and the other is their standard oil but that's likely a blend . As long as it meets the standards you need it's fine to use

You should be good to go. As a rule of thumb I usually only recommend Mobil motor oil to people that are hard of hearing

Where the heck did you get 50 qtrs. of Mobil synthetic at 1.25 a qt? As has been mentioned, is this really old stock?

A ton of dollar generals close to us had the 75% off clearance event going on, wife called and told me $1.25 a qt, I told her to clear the shelves at our local 3 or 4.

I've been hearing about these sorts of close outs for years on here, but never actually seen one. Maybe someday.

My wife keeps an eye on that stuff. Couponing and chasing “deals” like this is one of her many hobbies lol. I’m just glad that it pays off for me every once in a blue moon.

And back to your original question, I'd run that oil with no worries till it runs out.

All the Dollar Generals near me stock that oil. The price is about $7 a Qt. Not a bad deal for a decent oil at anything other than Walmart.

Check their website, there is Mobil 1, Mobil Super and Mobil. Mobil Full Synthetic is their entry level synthetic oil which is a good oil.

Is that Dexos 1 Gen 1? If so that was made 2010-2014 could be some mighty old stuff?
