It sure sounds like Kreen will get you faster results.

my thoughts are that mmo is a very mild cleaner and would fair well in a sludged up engine but is extremely slow and maybe too weak to tackle varnish and heavy carbon deposits. if i had a sludged up engine i would use mmo to get the cleaning started but after i would switch to kreen because it seems to be the most effective.
MMO is the slow cleaner and Kreen is the fast cleaner, just take your pick.

not to speak ill of MMO but i have no use for it anymore with my current vehicles. but one thing is for sure its completely safe, i have logged about 5k on my truck with kreen in the sump and no ill effects.
It sure sounds like Kreen and MMO are safe as long as you do not overdose either product.

after using it this year i feel when people say just run mmo in the last X miles of an oci are giving bad advice, its so gentile...or weak that i feel you need a couple k to see any benefits or results.
I believe you need to use MMO or any other oil additive for the entire OCI, who started this last 500 or 1000 miles before your OCI.

so to you who are contemplating using it because your afraid...DONT BE!
As long as you do not overdose MMO then everything should be fine. JMO

but if your expecting a new engine in one oci you might be disappointed.
That is very true, it all depends on how dirty your engine is, in reality it may take a few OCI's with either MMO or Kreen to get your engine clean. JMO
what is the definition of a dirty engine?,,1/16 inch of sludge, .0001 of an inch of varnish, 1 part per million of bubble bee juice, what is a dirty engine. There is one thing I do know,if I spell oil on my clean work pants, they are dirty, and who hasnt got oil on a t-shirt,,,yep thats dirty, so what is a dirty engine, only the angels know? Lets split hairs.
really? if your oil comes out in clumps it might be a dirty engine. if you have black goo on the stick it might be a dirty engine. if you change your oil and its instantly black...you might have a dirty engine. if you look in the oil fill and cant see metal.... it might be a dirty engine.
if your brother-in-law buys a house and you have to help take the wheels off of it..... wait thats a different subject
