Yeah I noticed that as well. I have a few older Briggs engines and they say to use SAE 20 or SAE 5w20 in the winter, and SAE 30 or SAE 10w40 in summer.
 
That is cool.

I have seen vintage OPE recommend SAE20, 10w20 or 5w20 engine oil for certain old school transaxles.
 
Blackstone likes to test old oil for there blog/news letter. Maybe one of you rich guys could buy this and give it to Blackstone.

It's cool, but not something I would buy, especially when I can go buy oil at the store that is 100 times better.
 
Nonetheless....it is a cool (and rare) find. I keep telling the wife to look for oil nostalgia when garage-saling.
