You don't really have high mileage until beyond 300k miles. People used to think 100k was impressive---back before PCV systems, unleaded gasoline, and---most important---better air filters.

The Camry runs like a top at 186k. The Grand Prix was totaled at 195k. Someone had to mess up all the hard work we had in that car to keep it running well. Vandalism and sugar in the gas tank. No doubt that car had life left in it. The Prizm is running great as it nears 150k.

That is encouraging, my 2011 has 109K which is nothing. I'm hoping to see well over 200K as the car is basically worth nothing now and I'm going to drive it until the wheels fall off.

My 2008 Toyota sienna van has over 257,000 miles on it. My 1988 300e mercedes has over 235,000 miles on it. It will soon be my youngest daughters car so she can drive it to school. ( whatever college she chooses). My 1983 mercedes 240d has 285,922 miles on it. It is my DD. My 1984 Mercedes 300SD has 222,234 miles on it. And my favorite car which is a 1995 mercedes 300d has 153,743 miles on it. They All run great and are a treat to drive.
230,000 miles on my 98 F-150 with a 4.6L V8. Mobil 1 5w30 the first 150,000 miles. Been running Super Tech synthetic 5w30 since then. The engine has never been open and continues to run great.

We have almost 160,000 on the 07 Mustang. Been using Pennzoil Platinum 10W30 most of its life. The 4.0 runs like a champ!!
1987 Toyota 4Runner 330,125 miles as I type this. Dealership serviced for the first 255,000 with bulk 5/10w30. Since my ownership its been mostly conventional oil as well with a few synthetic blends and one run of Mobil 1. Still consumes no oil.
2004 Lexus ES330. 166,000 ish miles. Family owned since new. With the exception of a few dealership oil changes (2-3) it went the first 130,000 miles with Mobil 1 5w30 @ 5-8k intervals with a few runs in there on Redline 5w30 as well. Since 130 k it's had Lubrication Engineer 5w30, Valvoline SynPower 5w30, Mobil 1, Pennzoil Ultra Platinum PurePlus 5w30 for a 10k run and Pennzoil Conventional 30 for 5500. Currently filled with Valvoline SynPower 20w50. Also consumes no oil and I've yet to have a used oil analysis with anything but single digit wear metals.

On me way, 123k on the Matrix. Previous Accord was 166k and ran like a top before being sold. The Honda dealer even did an inspection that I used as a sales tool. All it needed was a rear tail light that I knew about. They changed the oil for free since the color was a little dark. They had done a fair amount of preventative maintenance on it and a couple repairs over the years. (Rear main seal and fuel pressure regulator)

At 151k miles on my Sierra. 5k mile oil changes its whole life, by what was ever on sale at auto zone. 90% of those miles either had a snowmobile or quad in the bed, or pulling a trailer. Never did anything to the transmission. Doesn't burn a drop of oil.

02 Honda with just under 205k. Runs great, did a head gasket around 190k. Tahoe is at 133k runs great as well.
2002 Honda Odyssey bought it brand new, still driving it everyday.
431k miles and transmission was replaced by Honda under warranty.
Whatever cheapest oil I can find and change it every 3k miles, transmission every 35k miles but now recently I find out that I have leak somewhere. Going to look at it next week.
All off the maintenance been done excepted valve adjustment.

168k+ on my 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 5.3L & still going strong. I had a mechanic friend of mine check something out on it last year, he had to pull 1 of the valve covers. Told me he was surprised how clean it was & keep doing the OCI's I'm doing. That was on Mobil 1, Pennzoil Platinum & Quaker State Ultimate Durability thru the years. I bought my truck used in 2006 with 8200+ miles on it. I plan to drive it until the wheels fall off & then replace them & go again.lol
2005 chevy equinox. Just turned 150k. Owned it since new. First few years of its life were 5w30 Castrol conventional with AC Delco filters. Changed every 3-4k miles. Then switched to QS conventional since walmart dropped its price a few bucks and the Castrol went up a few bucks. The valve train ran alot quieter on the QS. Then I have been browsing the posts here and now I run the cheapest Dexos1 Full Synthetic I can find. So Ive run Oreilley's Supertech, PPP, Mobil 1, Quaker State Ultimate Durability, and Castrol Full Synthetic. If I do it right I can find dexos1 just as cheap as conventional, thank to the forum of coarse!
'05 Chevy Express van 6.0L Vortec - 276K !! - still doesn't burn a drop - last 176k on ST full-syn 5-30 + Fram Ultra, changed at 'computer' intervals (ave 7k)

I had an '02 GMC Envoy that I got 220K out of before she died on me. The transmission lasted until 202K and I'm sure I could have gotten another forever out of her if I didn't have the head gasket blown after I after the water pump blew.
I used every oil out there and all filters as well and changed every fluid, spark plug, and brakes well before it was time.
Not bad for 14 years I think.

2002 Nissan Frontier 4 cylinder with 240K miles. Still has the original engine and transmission. Burns about a quart of oil every oil change but has only started doing that after switching to Pennzoil Platinum. Will try another synthetic before ruling them out completely.
1990 Toyota Camry 2.0L 5spd sold at 229,000 miles if memory serves me correctly. Used Pennzoil Conventional 5w30 up until 75,000 miles then switched over to Pennzoil High Mileage 5W30 with purolator classics with 4000 mile intervals for oil changes. Had to sell because I had to many vehicles and no where to park them at the time. Replaced the clutch & acouple starters/alternators & routine batteries. Sold in 2012 to local garage for $500.00.
