Yeah, forget that stupid Shell Helix. And Castrol is really an off brand these days.

That guy clearly only goes by oil color and nothing else. The probably would look at us like we're from Mars if we mention a UOA. LOL.
I agree that if an oil is really dark on the dipstick, that you should change it, esp if your scheduled interval is coming up soon. All my oils are usually a really dark brown color when I pull a sample / change it. UOA show that all is well and I don't go ripping into the block to rebuild it

I wonder how he feels about using an oil filter for 2 OCI's. If he's like me he would not do it!

I feel dumber after watching that.
I like the stack of laptops in the background. Perhaps they are on the short OCI treatment, also. If the oil turns black too fast, he'll have to pull them open and change the CPU.
