Rain-X Anti-fog for INTERIOR glass.
I tried this to get rid of the foggy "film" on the inside of the windshield my wife's Elantra forms in all kinds of weather; didn't expect much; BUT: it worked great! No more fogging/film from inside at all! It's really clear, and where I've missed a few spots, I could really see what a difference it made.
The really great surprise was: it didn't only get rid of the fogging which was pretty typical to the Elantra, but it also prevented the glass from fogging up due to the natural cold weather!
After I noticed this, I put it on the inside glass of my T-bird: same results: The rain and cold-dependant inside-fogging almost totally gone; When I get off work at 10 pm at temps around 15-20 deg., the windshield is crystal clear! Unless there was a sheet of real solid ice on the OUTside of the windshiled, I've never used the defroster to clear up interior fogging anymore since the Rain-X treatment! The difference is clearly seen at cold, foggy nights.
It's been about 4 weeks since I first put one coat on, and it still looks really clear, still preventing all kinds of fog on the windshield. I'm going to put it on the few spots that missed on the windshield, but it's almost such a joy to have those missed spots, just to see what a difference it made at nightime.
highly recommended.
HOW I USED IT:
I put a little Rain-X anti-fog on to a micro-fiber towel, rubbed it on the inside, it looks smeary/foggy for a moment, but just keep rubbing, and the foggyness goes away, and the glass looks really clear. Biggest problem is seeing where you missed a spot while doing it, but as soon as you drive at night, it becomes VERY clear, and you can easily spot the missed areas.
