I see Lexus more than anything else.

I really like the 3rd and 4th generation Accord. Sadly I don't think they'll make one like those anytime soon.

I think the LS460 rear styling is bland and same for BMW 750, the best rear styling in the last 20 or so years was the first generation Q45.

It seems to me that designers concentrate on the front of the cars, the rear is the last thing they touch on and ran out of idea of how to make it looks good.

With his license plate number, I wouldn't be happy.

Hundreds or even thousands see your license plate on the street every day. How's this any different?

According to Car and Driver though, it is a step back towards the "old" Honda. The Honda I like. In the mean time, I may go test drive a 2007 TSX for "my next car" short list.

I have an 07 TSX and a 12 MDX, and just sold the 04 Accord. Honda/Acura vehicles have been excellent for my family.

I've never understood why people get concerned about showing a plate number on the net.

Because of the chance someone can run the plate and find the persons address. yes, this can happen any day of the week, but say, as in the OP's picture, no one really knew about the car. Now, everyone see's it and puts the chance of a psycho-nut-cases messing with teh addressee's property more at risk

Where would one do this? It's not public record. If they can do it, why don't people do it by walking the parking lot of the local mall?

AFAIK the only way to run a plate to get personal info especially out of state is if they are police, out of state would be federal.

I know there are companies trying to put together databases to sell to like PI's, and repo guys, but I don't think they are that good yet.

Considering the [censored] people post on Facebook, a license plate shot is the least of there worries.

A County constable, the ones that get paid a dollar a year, can get out of state tags ran just as easy as in state. All states use NCIC to run out of state tags.

So after reading about the 2013 Accord I decided to test drive one this weekend. For the record, I have a love/hate relationship with Honda, and the Accord. I loved the 1976-1989 models, and the 2003-2007 while pretty much hating all other years. I think the 2008-2011 was the least liked years for me. I am more of a GM/Chrysler and sometimes Hyundai/Kia/VW/Ford guy.

That said, I have to say I really liked the 2013. Test drove an EX-L w/o nav. and really felt like I was in a much more expensive car. It was only a 2-3 mile test loop on flat roads, so I didn't get to really test out the CVT, but from the short drive I liked how quiet the interior was, the steering feel and power delivery. Interior appointments were very nice and well laid out, including a much softer and more comfortable seat. The Accord is nicer inside that the current gen TL.

Cool features include a back up and right side camera, push button start, dual LCD screens, well laid out controls and just an overall upscale feel. It blew the 2013 Altima and Camry away. It should be on your shopping list if you're looking for a mid-size (or even a luxury car)!

Thanks for the quick review. From the reviews I have read on here and the reviews in the rags I've seen already, it looks like they have a very good car on their hands.

Me neither. Last I checked, vehicle plates could be seen in real life, as in, I pass a few hundred everyday! I don't care what they are when I see them, so why would I care if they're on the internet?

If I wanted to associate a plate with an address, I guess I'd just look for cars in driveways. I real detective move there...

What about the phonebooks?

p.s. Remember those? They also used to call them telephone directories and...

THEY USUALLY LISTED YOUR NAME AND ADDRESS,TOO!

"Just because one is paranoid doesn't mean THEY aren't out to get you!"

p.p.s. Pretty durn good mpg IMHO(24/34 with the 6-speed manual), too.

You are all wrong, it looks like a Genesis sedan from behind. Moreso than any of the other comparisons.

I also think the Genesis sedan is the best looking car Hyundai makes my a million miles, so that's a good thing, (IMO of course)

It's hard to keep track of who copied who these days. So man cars look alike these days...
