Average speed is too low when delivering newspaper. Would have to be something longer distance with mostly highway miles!

I'm skeptical of this too.

I'm skeptical about the time and the transmission. I highly doubt any automatic transmission from any car manufacturer would last that long, without some kind of rebuild. I wouldn't believe it unless there are service history records to show it. She would also be changing the oil every 2 weeks. This is a far fetch story to me without proof.

Also most long distance truck drivers do 100,000 miles a year. I just don't see it.

Maybe she bought it in 2012. We bought our 2013 Santa Fe Sport in May of 2012. 🤨

SHE HAS NO LIFE. Something seems fishy, just too many miles, too quickly, with no daily,weekly, and yearly breaks to live a life. Now if he car was swapped between 2 drivers, I am a believer. There very well maybe a 1/8 to a 1/4 of the time second driver we are not hearing about.
 
That's akin to spending time in a 10 x 12 jail cell. You do it but no comfort spending life in the penalty box that long.

It's very possible. My friend is a medical courier here in Dallas. She drives from 5am to sometimes 10pm,6-7 days a week, You wouldn't believe the miles she puts on her vehicles.
 
I guess I started a new trend with my piece of 💩💩💩💩 comment!. For a second there I thought the question was how I managed to kill one 3 years 46000 miles. . That's easy, just drive it. How anyone got one of those to last is beyond me. Otherwise they aren't bad cars fairly comfortable to say the least . A lot more comfortable than a Honda Civic if you can forgive the small issues of death knock🥶 and special 🙈trade in values. My daughter got offered $5k on trade in for a 3 year old car with a brand new engine towards a New RAV. That's the crowning jewel.
The subject of that video did whatever she did to make hers last that long. I just don't like how it leads people to believe these things are good long lived cars instead of the reality.
 
The fact that this is a Hyundai is bringing out the naysayers. If this had been a Ford, a Fiat or a GovMo then heaps of praise would have been poured into these threads.

Not at all. The numbers just do not add up.
 
There have been threads here about people who drive long distances and rack up miles very quickly. One involved a oil worker. If you do a certain kind of work like that or delivery and live in the right region where stops are hundreds of miles apart then I think this scenario is totally feasible. Someone on the east coast may not comprehend how vast this country is west of the Mississippi.

Yeah this. Knew a guy who worked for a chain of nursing homes and "because reasons" they had one central pharmacy and had to drive medications to all their other locations daily. They used plain Jane unmarked cars (without cow catchers, lol) so they wouldn't get mugged by pill junkies.
