The Mirage used to be an affordable, reliable little car starting under $14k not too long ago. Now you can’t even get it in a manual transmission anymore and it’s as expensive as the much better Kia Rio (or Hyundai Accent, RIP) that comes standard with 1 extra cylinder..

We've been looking to buy a 2023 Toyota Venza. This year, Toyota added a NIGHTSHADE Edition and I don't like it on this level of vehicle.

On the earlier Hyundai kona they weren't black, but a contrasting colour. Now they are body coloured, or can be at least.

The blackout (when it's not plastic) looks good on some cars.

However, my biggest b**** is the increase in black plastic around the wheel wells of so many cars, even higher end cars. Looks pretty cheap on a $60k vehicle.
