......... navigation is the right tool.
If I have to go somewhere I'm not familiar with, I just look it up on Google Earth. I get a nice above ground look at everything around it. And then go to street level, and can see surrounding buildings and landmarks that will guide me right to it. I know exactly where I'm going, the best route to take, along with what to look for when I get there. And the best and closest place to park when I do.
What was unfamiliar now becomes all but a repeat visit. All I have to do then is drive the car there, and pay attention to the road..... Just like you're supposed to. No fiddling around pressing buttons. No carrying on conversations with dashboards. No one telling me to, "Turn left in 227 feet, 5 inches. No taking my eyes off the road for any reason. Another words, no distracted driving what so ever.
