That's a good thing, Less prions entering the slaughterhouse to contaminate the rest of the meat supply.Because it’s hard to find deer meat (venison) burgers commercially.

People who grill often don't keep it in the basement but on the back porch/yard. Gas grill can be ready in about 10 mins. Plus if you don't have a proper range hood (I don't myself and it annoys me to no end) then you don't have to grill in the house with a fan in the kitchen window sucking out the smell.Fine if you making a bunch for a crowd, but too much hassle for one burger to drag out the grill from the basement. Maybe twice a year when I get an itch for one. Not to mention I'm trying to cut down on food like that.
Plus: Lower cost because not only are you less likely to have all the ingredients to build a great burger you're probably not going to grind your own mix. You can go as lean as you want.I want to see what others say first. Oh I can only think of one minus.![]()
Why limit your grilling to burgers? There is a whole world of barbecue cookery - skewers of chicken, rotisserie chicken, skewers of beef, roast beef - indirect heat or rotisseried, sausages, fish in a number of ways, etc. You can even make pizza on a gas grill (though we haven't tried that yet).Don't want to clutter up the porch for something I only may use a couple times a year.

Sure those numbers are right? McDonalds shows four times as much calories and fat in a 1/4 pounder. I know they don't use the same grade of beef, but still, 4 times as much bad stuff?~140 calories
~25g protein
~4g fat (1-2g sat. fat)
~63mg cholest
0 carbs...
Why would you avoid that?

Especially needed when solvent is used on transmissions! It's because your house lacks a proper range hood.
