Whoa, you need to get a filter restriction gauge. Our MD trucks at work go 6000 hrs plus before needing new air filters. I have posted on these gauges before, you can search for it.

I'm always suprised at what I learn reading them, even if I get just one little tidbit. That being said I take most of the manuals with a grain of salt.

No problem, but I think you missread some of my responses, and really, nothing wrong with my original reply.
