checked another store and found the 5w-20 had dropped into the $19 and change range but the 5W-30 was still in the $27 range...I had the manager (actually he offered) to check it in the system and found the price was still as listed but said keep checking if I want as the price should continue to drop...

I did offer to buy the 3-5 quart jugs he had in 5W-30 if he matched the 5W-20 price but he couldn't make that happen...

Went to my favorite BBQ stop for lunch and right next door was a AAP. Had a $20 gift card Castrol GTX rebate gift card collecting dust in my wallet so................


Scored some cheap tools in those little bins for $.19-65 cents each 4 Phillips screwdrivers, mini tape measure, long nose pliers, slip joint pliers, 6 in 1 screw driver

M1 201A filter $2.51 each

and this "diamond in the rough" old girl Ford "XG2 version" wire mesh Purolator filter for $4.69!!!

It's a good oil, just typically overpriced ($32 for the 5w-40 at Walmart) and their rebates aren't as heavy as Rotella/Delvac.

It is a good Oil at $12.95 and even a better oil at $9.71
Original price at AAP of $39.99, there are better oils out there at that price.
