The "Green" Propane Lawn Mower

Little propane tanks are great for camping, hiking, and blow torches, but in an application like lawn mowing, disposable tanks are anything nut green.

Appropriate energy sources should be used where appropriate, and mowers and petrol make sense.

Although given the general intermittent nature of mowing, the few people I've seen with solar powered battery mowers are eccentric, but also appropriate.

Don't have to worry about the gas going stale and plugging the carb up. Thats kinda neet about it anyway.

That's a fact! You could probably use it indoors to vacuum up nasty shag carpet. The manly way to vacuum.

I converted my mower over to propane, and worked up a set of plans to do it which I sell on Ebay. Even with the little green tanks, it's a much nicer way to mow. I simply save my tanks and refill them.

So far I haven't had any issues with the oil or anything else...And it starts on the first pull every time.
