Advice wanted for buying a new lawn mower

Need more information. Need to know if the OP wants self propelled or push and need to know if the OP is mechanical before I can make a recommendation.

Good questions. I want a push mower. It is a small yard plus I want the exercise that can be gained from walking rather than the machine doing the work. It depends on what you mean by mechanical. I can change the oil, change a spark plug, chain or re-oil the air filter, but I have never rebuilt a carburetor or sharpened a lawn mower blade. I am willing to learn and enjoy "task work" but have never done it. I am open to more questions so ask away.
