Any more I just don't worry about OCI length. I just change every 7K. Most of my 18 mile trips to Karen's house are right at 50% electric power, so I feel good with with extending the obligatory 5K OCI about 40%. Last oil change the OLM was at 30% after 7K. Always use a quality synthetic and a fresh filter. Looking for a solid engine when the extended warranty expeires in 3.5 years. I feel this should do it. Have two more changes of Mobil 1 and after that probably Valvoline R & P at VIOC two miles from my house.
